Cinnamon Caramelised Bananas and Medjool Dates over Ice Cream

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg

  • 2 ripe bananas, quartered

  • 8 Natural Delights Medjool dates, pitted

  • 4 scoops (1/2 cup) vanilla ice cream

Preparation

  1. Melt the butter in a large skillet. Add the brown sugar and for 3 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in the cinnamon and nutmeg.

  2. Add the bananas and dates and cook for a minute more to heat through. Serve warm with the ice cream.
