8 (1.5 ounce) shots rum (equivalent to 1 ½ cup)
½ cup Natural Delights Medjool date syrup
6 dashes orange bitters
splash of soda water
(garnish) orange peel
In a cocktail shaker, shake the rum, Medjool date syrup, orange bitters and orange peel together.
Pour the drink over ice cube filled glasses.
Add a splash of soda water to each glass.
Garnish with the cinnamon stick and more orange peel.
Notes: It’s best if you use a lightly spiced rum, like those of the Bundaberg and Beenleigh brands. While drinking; occasionally stir with the cinnamon stick since the Medjool date syrup tends to settle to the bottom.
