227 g Natural Delights Medjool dates, pitted
1 tbsp. warm water
½ tsp. sea salt
2 tbsp. dried currants or dried cranberries
2 tbsp. pumpkin seeds
2 tbsp. chia seeds
Powders for coating: shredded coconut or coconut flour, Matcha green tea powder, powdered peanut flour, or cocoa powder. You will need about ¾ cup total. (Matcha Green Tea Powder may be found in specialty shops or can be ordered on-line.)
Place all the ingredients into the bowl of a food processor and process, using the pulse button and scraping down the sides of the bowl as you go.
Turn the mixture out onto the parchment paper.
Form into two 25 cm rolls, using parchment paper to cover and prevent the mixture from sticking to your hands.
Slice each roll into 10 pieces roughly.
Form each slice into a drop (like a chocolate kiss shape).
Roll in your desired powder in a small bowl.
Keeps in your pantry for 2-3 weeks or refrigerate for longer storage.
